Everything you need to know about Bruce Springsteen’s UK tour: presale info, tour dates, ticket prices

For a songwriter whose lyrics deal almost exclusively with down and outs in small-town America, Bruce Springsteen has an album to suit every taste. From the rollicking New Orleans-style jazz of Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ to the stripped back melancholia of Nebraska, the misguided romanticism of Tunnel Of Love to the nostalgic turn of Western Stars, delving into the Boss’ back catalogue offers a cornucopia of textures and sounds made by a master of his craft.

But his albums pale in comparison to his intense, fist-pumpingly fun live shows. He has a voice precision-tooled for stadiums, booming and blasting his way through songs with the energy of a man half his age.

That’s why we’re excited that Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band have announced a handful of UK dates for 2023 as part of his massive world tour. Want tickets? Then read on to find out when he’s playing, how you can nab tickets in a pre-sale, what the Boss has been up to and more. Don't forget to head to the bottom of this article and enter your details if you’d like to receive a one-off email reminding you when tickets go on general sale.

  • General Admission: £101.15
  • Primary Entry: £111.85

Platinum tickets for Springsteen's show in Edinburgh are currently ranging from £378.90 to £457.85 (don't worry, we're certain general admission tickets will be significantly cheaper).

Platinum tickets have also been released for the Villa Park show, costing £394.70. Again, we anticipate general admission tickets to be a lot cheaper. As soon as we know, you will too.

What exactly are the BST shows?

The British Summertime (BST) concert series has become the jewel in the crown of events at Hyde Park since its first run in summer 2013. These day-long shows have the feel of mini festivals, and punters can enjoy three stages of acts alongside a number of bars and food stalls.

These are also expertly curated events, with almost perfect complementary acts supporting the headliner. Adele’s recent two-night residency at BST, for example, featured support from Gabrielle, Nilüfer Yanya, Self Esteem, Kacey Musgraves and more. So expect to see a full day of emotive lyrics about cowboys and pristinely played guitars from the support at Springsteen's shows.

As it provides a festival experience, tickets generally cost a little more for BST shows, with several VIP tiers providing access to private viewing booths and chill out areas across the site. It won’t be the cheapest way to catch the Boss in action, but it is the most luxurious.

Who’ll be supporting Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band on tour?

The support for Bruce & The E-Street Band are yet to be announced, but we’ll update this section as soon as we know.

What’s Springsteen been up to recently?

Springsteen kept himself very busy during the pandemic with a spate of multimedia and musical projects, as well as a handful of vinyl reissues. Probably the most unexpected of his projects was a podcast and book with none other than President Barack Obama entitled Renegades: Born In The USA, which was later adapted into a book.

Springsteen & The E Street Band’s most recent studio album Letter To You, which debuted at number one in 11 countries, marked their first time recording live together in decades. Last year, Springsteen also unveiled his never-before-released The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts film, and reprised his record-setting show Springsteen On Broadway to help reopen New York City theatres last summer.
