Phoebe Bridgers debuts new song on the final night of her London residency

Phoebe Bridgers’ four-night residency at London’s O2 Academy Brixton this week has been full of surprises. She invited special guest Matt Healy from The 1975 onstage on Tuesday 26 July to perform a duet of ‘I Know The End’ and was joined by Nell Mescal during the encore on Thursday 28 July for a performance of 'Georgia'. But her final night on Friday 29 July closed with a bigger treat for fans with the debut of a brand-new song.
Recording videos of the song was strictly prohibited, so footage of the song is yet to surface online and it's title is currently unknown. However, an entry on setlist.fm has confirmed that the song features the line, ‘I never thought anyone could love you like me.’
The song comes as fans eagerly await the follow-up to Bridgers’ 2020 album Punisher. Since that album, Bridgers has launched own record label, called Saddest Factory, and has guested on an array of songs from other artists. She most recently released the song ‘Sidelines’ earlier this year as part of the soundtrack for Conversations With Friends. Listen to it below.
