The long-running and critically acclaimed Wicked: The Musical will return to the Edinburgh Playhouse in winter 2023. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Thursday 8 December. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a full list of the show's UK tour dates. 

One of the most successful musicals of all time, Wicked will hit the Scottish capital for a strictly limited five-week run as part of a tour across the UK and Ireland with stops in Bristol, Liverpool, Sunderland Manchester and more. These will be the only Scottish dates on the tour in 2023 and 2024. 

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, this reimagining of The Wizard Of Oz explores the backstory of Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch Of The West to tell a tale of friendship, magic and growing up.
