Want tickets for Liam Gallagher 2024 Definitely Maybe UK tour dates? Here’s everything you need to know

Maybe he doesn’t really want to know how your garden grows. Not a horticulturalist, our Liam, but there’s an element of doubt in his phrasing. Maybe he does want to know how your garden grows. Perhaps he’s a topsoil enthusiast. If his brother Noel weren’t in the picture, there's every chance that Liam would have started a community gardening outreach programme for miscreant teens. Such is the mystery embedded in Oasis’ landmark single ‘Live Forever’, which propelled the band to stardom and inspired Alan Titchmarsh to present Ground Force to a garden growing nation (probably).

Anyway, we’re rambling this nonsense because arkid-in-chief Liam Gallagher has announced a tour of arenas in 2024 to celebrate 30 years since the release of Oasis’ seminal debut album Definitely Maybe, a Britpop classic that led thousands of men across the country to wear Pretty Green jackets and scream ‘SHIIIIIIEEENNNNEEE’ at the drop of a bucket hat.

These tickets will be snapped up quicker than you can say ‘Oasis reunion’. To help you get yours, we’ve assembled this handy guide to let you know when tickets go on sale, what presales are available, what tracks you can expect to hear, and whether or not Noel will join his brother onstage at the gigs (short answer – no he won’t).

Where and when will Liam Gallagher tour the UK?

Update: Liam Gallagher has added two new dates - Tuesday 11 June at O2 Arena, London, and Friday 28 June at Manchester's Co-op Live.

Starting at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on Saturday 1 June, Gallagher will then perform Definitely Maybe in full at arenas in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester throughout June. Looking at the tour schedule, there are a few gaps for extra shows, so we wouldn’t be surprised if more were added due to ‘phenomenal demand’.

Here’s a detailed list of Gallagher’s UK tour dates:

Saturday 1 June – Utilita Arena, Sheffield
Monday 3 June – Utilita Arena, Cardiff
Thursday 6 June – O2 Arena, London
Friday 7 June – O2 Arena, London
Monday 10 June – O2 Arena, London

When do tickets for Liam Gallagher go on sale?

Tickets for Liam Gallagher’s UK tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 20 October.

Where can I buy tickets for Liam Gallagher’s tour?

Tickets for Gallagher’s Definitely Maybe tour are available from Ticketmaster, See Tickets, AXS and Live Nation

How much will tickets cost?

No official pricing information is available at this time. We can let you know that his previous tour in 2022 cost between £70 and £100. We’d be surprised if the price inflated beyond that.

Are there any presales for this tour?

No presales have been announced, so you’ll have to purchase yours on general sale day.

Who’ll be supporting Liam Gallagher on tour?

Support hasn’t been announced yet, but expect the usual crack squad of lad rock bouncy lads-lads. Who knows, maybe Liam'll let Noel play as opener.

What’ll be on Liam Gallagher’s setlist?

This is a Definitely Maybe anniversary tour, so you can expect to hear that classic album in full. That means  ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, to name a few, alongside rarities like ‘Digsy’s Dinner’ and ‘Married With Children’. It’ll be a thrill to hear them but, as with any full album show, the real surprises will come from the B-sides Gallagher chooses to perform. This was the era when an Oasis B-side could go toe-to-toe with an album track, from the pub rock chugger ‘Fade Away’ to the naff but fun Beatles pastiche ‘Whatever’.

Anyway, it’ll be worth the price of entry to hear ‘Slide Away’, inarguably the best song Noel Gallagher ever wrote. Have a listen to see what we mean:

Why is Definitely Maybe so special?

Liam called Definitely Maybe ‘The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn't be anywhere without it and neither would you,’ and it’s difficult to argue against him. Emerging with the propulsion of lads desperate to escape their Manchester council estate, its combination of nihilism and hope captured the sound of rock ‘n’ roll dreaming with more sincerity than the band’s heavily ironic Britpop peers ever could. And the guitars, oooft – crunchy and satisfying, imbuing these glam-stomp tracks with a dreamy shoegaze atmosphere that spar energetically with Liam’s pugilist’s snarl. Oasis’ creative flame may have burnt out quickly, but it was ferocious during the Definitely Maybe era.

Any other gossip on Liam Gallagher?

Liam’s been pretty quiet recently, so let’s just enjoy a few of his most recent nonsensical tweets (Or do we call them Exes now? It’s difficult to care.).

What a poet. Anyway, the only other news is that The Masterplan, Oasis' brilliant B-sides album, will be rereleased on record next month. It's got more classics on it than most bands' entire back catalogue, so give it a listen.

Will Noel be involved?

Apparently not. Asked by a fan on X, the artist formerly known as Twitter, if Noel was going to join him on stage, Liam replied, ‘He’s been asked and he’s refused.’ Ach well, maybe the brothers will kiss and make up before the What’s The Story Morning Glory? 30th anniversary.

How can I guarantee that I’ll get tickets?
