Hot Chip added to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2023 line-up: how to get tickets

Synth Pop polymaths Hot Chip have been added to the stacked line-up for Edinburgh’s main Hogmanay event. Tickets for the show are on sale now.

The band, consisting of Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Felix Martin and Al Doyle, will perform a DJ set on the night before headliners Pulp take to the stage. Best known for their late-2000s hits ‘Over And Over’ and ‘Ready For The Floor’, expect the Chip lads to play a host of synthpop classics and dancefloor fillers when they hit Princes Street Gardens on Sunday 31 December.

This year will mark the 31st anniversary of the Concert In The Gardens series, which will welcome 40,000 revellers into Edinburgh city centre and Princes Street from Friday 29 December 2023 until Monday 1 January 2024. Joining Pulp and Hot Chip across four days of celebration will be award-winning Elephant Sessions, Scottish folk Kinnaris Quintet, internationally famous ABBA cover band Björn Again and ceilidh aficionados the Hannah Fisher Band, alongside a variety of events across the city.

Tickets for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebrations are on sale now.
