The first wave of acts has been revealed for TRNSMT 2024, and includes headline sets from Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris. Presale tickets for the festival are on sale now via the Three+ app. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday 24 November. 

The lad’s lad Liam Gallagher will play the headline slot on Friday 12 July, with Scottish troubadour lad sensation Gerry Cinnamon doing the same on Saturday 13 July, and blokey dance lad Calvin Harris closing the weekend on Sunday 14 July. Gallagher said, 'Can’t wait to return to Glasgow Green next summer to headline TRNSMT. I'll be playing songs from Definitely Maybe as well as some solo stuff. See you there.'

Joining them across the weekend are Garbage, Courteeners, Chase & Status, The Snuts, Rick Astley, Tom Grennan, Declan Mckenna, Dylan John Thomas, Blossoms, Sugababes, Example, Cian Ducrot, Enter Shikari, Picture This, Baby Queen, The Mary Wallopers, CMAT and The Last Dinner Party, with plenty more acts to be announced in the coming months. 

We had a grand old time at TRNSMT’s 2023 outing, writing, ‘TRNSMT may be known as the festival to hear chart-toppers, but it proves time and again that there’s space on Glasgow Green for genre experimentation and smaller acts. Aside from an impressive roster of headliners, 2023’s edition of the fest played host to London rap, Edinburgh shoegaze, and shedloads of Swiftie-inspired pop. A decent bill, then, but one let down by a lack of female headliners for the second year in a row and a few too many mid-2000s landfill indie lads for this reviewer’s liking.’ Read our full review here.
