CIRCUS OF FACTS kids review: Acrobatics for little 'uns
Acting as an introduction to the circus, this kid-friendly show from Cirqular Entertainment offers plenty of wow-inducing moments

First up, no pesky facts are given, received or otherwise harmed in the making of this circus. The name comes from the initials of the acts: it’s really a Circus Of F-acts. Now that’s understood, on with the f-un.
There’s plenty to wow little ones and their grown-ups here, with heaps of skill and jeopardy, from high hoop routines, block balances and unicycling while doing acrobatics at the same time. There’s slapstick and sequins, juggling and jokes, and the crowd goes wild for all of it (an even greater feat when you remember most kids have no clue how difficult these skills actually are).
From an adult’s point of view, there are a few things worth knowing. Firstly, they do a great job in managing the energy in the room: things stay upbeat and energetic without tipping into that over-hyped frenzy state, which is impressive. They start the show gently, wandering through the audience to say hello, which is a great chance to calm any nerves or wobbles. It’s clear there’s been a lot of thought put into making the performance accessible to as many young 'uns as possible (although a specific rope trick does need parental advisory). CIRCUS OF FACTS is great fun for children of all ages (and adults won’t be bored), an almost note-perfect introduction to the wonderful world of circus.
