American death metal merchants Cannibal Corpse have announced a UK tour this autumn. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 11am on Thursday 28 March.

Hailing from Buffalo, New York, the quintet have released 16 albums since forming in 1988. Comprising members Alex Webster, Paul Mazurkiewicz, Rob Barrett, George Fisher and Erik Rutan, Cannibal Corpse now reside in sunny Florida, the retirement state surely anathema to their bleak, annihilative ethos. But, hey, it’s currently 25°C there.

With titles such as Butchered At Birth, Gore Obsessed, Evisceration Plague and Violence Unimagined, it could be said that their albums have a bit of a theme. Their most recent record, Chaos Horrific, was released last year, prompting Kerrang to proclaim, ‘Far from starting to decompose, killing is still CC’s business. And business remains very good – and macabre – indeed.’
