Fringe By The Sea has added a number of acts to their 2024 line-up. The festival will take place from Friday 2–Sunday 11 August and tickets for all announced shows are on sale now. 

Music fans can look forward to some classic rock: Glasgwegian band Del Amitri, purveyors of singles ‘Kiss This Thing Goodbye’, ‘Always The Last To Know’ and ‘Roll To Me’, will be performing at the Big Top (Saturday 3 August); while legendary punk rockers The Stranglers will be on hand to mark their half century (Tuesday 6 August).

Literary lovers can catch feminist writer and broadcaster Caitlin Moran as she talks about her new book, What About Men? (Sunday 4 August). Meanwhile, survival specialist Ray Mears will share his survival tips (Saturday 3 August). For families, Artie’s back with the original Singing Kettle, performing classic children’s folk songs (Thursday 8 August).

Previously announced acts include The Jacksons, Hot Chip, Richard E Grant, Trash Test Dummies and Horrible Histories: Rotten Royals.
