The Flaming Lips announce Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots tour: How to get tickets
Wayne Coyne and co will celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary with full album shows across the UK

The Flaming Lips have announced a full-album tour of Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots across the UK and Ireland for 2025. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 7 June. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK and Ireland gig dates.
The album celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022. That means two decades of ‘Do You Realize??’ on near-constant rotation on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, and 20 years of sumptuous tracks like ‘It’s Summertime’ and ‘All We Have Is Now’.
Alongside The Soft Bulletin, this 2002 mini-masterpiece has had a longer shelf-life than most Lips albums, cementing the band’s success in the mainstream. In 2007, plans were made to turn the album into a musical by The West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin and director Des McAnuff. The show received its world premiere in 2012 (by that time, Sorkin had left the project), but never gained enough traction to continue its run.
If you want to relive the majesty of Yoshimi, the band will start their tour on Friday 25 April at O2 Academy Birmingham, before making stops in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol.
