Fronted by Conor Oberst, the band unveiled their first new album in four years, titled Five Dice, All Threes, with lead single ‘Bells And Whistles’. The album will be released on Friday 20 September on Dead Oceans.

Speaking about the single, Oberst said, ‘This is a song about the many little details in life that can seem insignificant or frivolous or temporary at the time, but eventually end up forming your destiny. And it’s also kind of a whistle while you work scenario.’

The new album will feature guest appearances from Cat Power, the National’s Matt Berninger and the So So Glo’s Alex Orange Drink, and will be entirely self-produced by the band.

Visiting the UK as part of a wider tour of the US and Europe, Bright Eyes will play two shows in England this year; Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton on Sunday 10 November and London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Monday 11 November.
