John Cale has announced a tour of the UK in spring 2025. Tickets for his shows will go on sale at 10am on Thursday 12 September. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of his UK performances. 

The tour will come partly in support of the ex-Velvet Underground singer’s latest album POPtical Illusion, which launched earlier this year to critical acclaim. 

Starting at Nottingham’s Playhouse on Thursday 20 March, Cale will then visit venues in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Bexhill On Sea, Cardiff and Liverpool, with a concluding date at Dublin’s Vicar Street on Monday 31 March.
