Pixies announce UK tour dates for 2025, tease new album
Black Francis’ venerable grunge act will hit venues in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, London, Leeds and more next summer

Pixies have announced new UK tour dates for 2025. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 20 September. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK performances.
The tour will come partly in support of the grunge veteran’s latest album The Night The Zombies Came, set for release on Friday 25 October on BMG. Band leader Black Francis explained gnomically, ‘Fragments that are related and juxtaposed with other fragments in other songs. And in a collection of songs in a so-called LP, you end up making a kind of movie.’ If you were ever puzzled by the century-old concept of a ‘rock album’, hopefully that clears things up. The album will also be the first to feature new bassist Emma Richardson, who joined earlier this year following the departure of long-serving member Paz Lenchantin.
Starting on Tuesday 13 May at P&J in Aberdeen, Pixies will then visit venues in Edinburgh London, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and Newcastle, with a culminating date at O2 Apollo Manchester on Saturday 24 May.
