Heartworms has announced a number of UK tour dates for February 2025. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 18 October. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of her UK performances. 

The tour will come in support of Heartworms’ (a solo project from London musician Jojo Ormes) forthcoming debut album Glutton For Punishment, set for release on Friday 7 February on Speedy Wunderground records. 

On the album, Ormes wrote, ‘I’ve been chastised my whole life; made to feel as if I didn’t belong, punished for not fitting into a perfect image of how a growing woman should be. When you’re told something enough times you start to believe it. I often find myself locked into an unhealthy cycle of craving harsh discipline, greedy for the familiarity it brings but terrified of the consequences - better the devil you know. But this album doesn’t just reflect my own experiences; it reflects those of the people in my life and the stories of others that I think need to be heard.’

Starting at Southampton’s Joiners on Wednesday 12 February, Heartworms will then visit venues in London, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Bristol and Birmingham, with a final date at Brighton’s Concorde 2 on Tuesday 25 February.

We loved Heartworms when we caught her at TRNSMT 2024, writing, ‘Dressed all in black and punctuating her songs with slick dance moves, Jojo Orme drenched the crowd with songs of gothic romance and terror.
