‘In 2025, BABYMETAL will enter a new era,’ claim representatives for the band
Babymetal, the Japanese metal trio currently enjoying a wave of global popularity, have announced a tour of the UK and Europe with one show in London. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10am on Friday 25 October.
The trio, which consists of Su-Metal, Moametal and Momometal, claimed in a press release, ‘In 2025, BABYMETAL will enter a new era. The METALVERSE will expand and we will travel to a world we have never experienced, with new songs.’ Support on all dates will come from Poppy and Bambie Thug.
Formed in 2010, the band’s last album The Other One was released in 2023, and is a concept album based on ‘ten separate parallel worlds’ discovered by the band (yes, they’re always as entertainingly weird as this).
