Creative Edinburgh Awards 2024 unveils full list of winners
Ten winners walked off with accolades for their stellar work across the city

Creative Edinburgh Awards has unveiled the complete list of winners for its 2024 edition, championing another febrile year of creativity for the city. The winners were honoured in a ceremony which took place at Central Hall on Friday 15 November, and included awards for inclusion, innovation, sustainability, leadership and more.

Thirty-three finalists composed of individuals, projects and organisations were shortlisted across ten distinct categories for this year's awards. The ceremony — a night of celebration, music and dancing — saw the winners from each category announced on stage in front of their peers and the Edinburgh creative communities.
In a tumultuous year for the arts across Scotland, the ceremony was also a chance to highlight issues which have rocked the Scottish arts and culture industry and the wider world, including the suspension of multi-year arts funding from Creative Scotland, Summerhall’s various controversies, and the plight of the people of Palestine (multiple award winners led a chant of ‘Free Palestine’ onstage).

First established in 2012, the Creative Edinburgh Awards has recognised more than 90 individuals and organisations with awards since 2012. This year, judges selected winners from more than 150 entrants to showcase the breadth of talent on offer across the city.
