The Maccabees expand tour shows for 2025: How to get tickets

The Maccabees have announced a trio of shows across the UK and Ireland as they warm-up for a major festival appearance at All Points East in London. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 11 April, while tickets for All Points East are on sale now. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK and Ireland tour dates.

Starting at Dublin Academy on Sunday 17 August, the band will then visit Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on Wednesday 20 August and Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on Thursday 21 August. Their show at All Points East will take place on Sunday 24 August.

After amicably disbanding in 2017, the colourful indie rock act announced their return last year. These will be the band’s first shows since reforming.

The decision to reform came when every member agreed to play together during singer Hugo White’s wedding, performing ‘Pelican’ for friends and family. ‘It was so heavy ending that band,’ White told Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2. ‘That last show was so final and it was such a big portion of our lives. I guess the wedding was a good opportunity to get us back together. It was a really lovely thing.’
