Kings of Leon and Catfish and the Bottlemen join Glasgow Summer Sessions lineup

Bands join the already announced hip hop superstar Kendrick Lamar at Bellahouston Park
Kings of Leon and Catfish and the Bottlemen have been confirmed to headline Glasgow Summer Sessions 2018 at Bellahouston Park, joining Kendrick Lamar. Tickets for the massive outdoor gigs go on sale at 9am on Fri 13 Apr.
Returning to the festival after playing to a sold out crowd in 2013, Kings of Leon make their only Scottish performance of 2018, performing tracks from across their career, from their charming yet indecipherable debut Youth and Young Manhood to their 2016 album WALLS (which stands for We Are All Love Songs, continuing the band's tradition, or superstition, of having five syllable album titles). Hella cool.
With festival friendly tracks like 'The Bucket', 'Use Somebody' and 'Waste A Moment' in their armoury, a crowd pleasing set surely awaits, and the band will be joined on Wed 22 Aug by The Wombats, just to be sure.
Headlining on Sat 25 Aug is the massively popular Catfish and the Bottlemen, the leading lights of the lads' banter society, the indie rock economists who steadfastly refuse to release a song with anything more than a one word title. Twin Atlantic, who soundtracked Felix Baumgartner's fall from space, return to their home city to perform at the show, with DMA'S, Peace and highlanders Neon Waltz completing the lineup.
Finally, the previously announced headliner for Wed 29 Aug, Kendrick Lemar, will be joined for his performance by N.E.R.D and Bugzy Malone.
