Audiobook service Audible has just announced the launch of Audio Shows, a brand new range of podcasts, audio programmes, original series and more, which sees a host of familiar names lending their talents to everything from drama and documentaries to discussion panels and comedy.

Among the highlights, you'll find Mo-Joe, in which Sir Mo Farah and The Body Coach Joe Wicks team up to give comedian George Lamb some expert advice as he trains for the 2018 London Marathon. There's also Esther Perel's Where Should We Begin?, true crime series, West Cork, Mark Kermode's Kermode On Film and Former Bake Off host Sue Perkin's journey through the animal kingdom, Zoopedia. If you're a fan of Parks & Recreation, Nick Offerman's Bed-time Stories For Cynics is a must, as it promises inappropriate children's stories for adults only.

Future Audible series arriving shortly on the platform include Bill Bryson's Appliance Of Science, which sees the author join forces with the Science Museum in celebration of ideas and inventions of the curious, Naomi Alderman's The Way Of All Flesh and Mark Dolan's VIP Lounge, where he chats to three very interesting people about their lives and work.

Launching with 14 original series, you can enjoy listening to Audio Shows as part of your regular monthly subscription if you're already an Audible member. Non-members can test the waters with a 30-day trial or make a one off payment for entire series or individual episodes.

Tracey Markham, UK Country Manager at Audible, said: 'Audio is booming and we couldn't be more thrilled to bring such an array of gripping, funny and insightful shorter listens to audio lovers across the country. Working with some of the world's best writers, producers, commentators and comics, Audio Shows gives Audible members access to a wealth of great audio programmes, original series and exclusive podcasts, ad-free, at no extra cost.'
