The 52nd edition of the Super Bowl will be hitting our screens imminently, bringing with it the usual buzz that surrounds America's biggest sporting event. This year's game will be played at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, which is home to the Divisional Championship bound Minnesota Vikings, with Justin Timberlake headlining the all-important halftime show, having last appeared (and caused a national controversy) in 2004 with Janet Jackson.

Whether you're into sports or not, the Super Bowl always guarantees a fun night out and luckily, there are plenty of bars across London that will be screening the game. So put on your best football jersey, ready your stomach for some of America's finest junk food and enjoy a night of drama as two teams battle it out for the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Spearmint Rhino, Tottenham Court Road
Pre-order a pizza and head down to Spearmint Rhino, where you'll be greeted by dancers, four stages of pre-game shows and waitress service, along with a giant screen with full commentary. Doors open at 6pm and you can also take advantage of drinks packages if you pre-book.

Roadtrip, Old Street
Old Street's American-influenced rock'n'roll bar and live music venue regularly plays host to alt.rock acts and DJs but on Sun 4 Feb, the bar will be turning its attention to American football, screening the big game alongside all the burgers, fries and beers you could want.

The Social, Little Portland Street
With tickets starting at just £5, The Social's Super Bowl party is a good shout for all your football needs. As well as big screens for the game itself, except good music, American beers, burgers and more.

Hippodrome Casino, Leicester Square
This famous London Casino promises a memorable Super Bowl experience. The game will be screened throughout the Hippodrome's first floor, with tickets available for the Theatre (£30) and Lounge (£20). Each ticket includes a beer and a bowl of wings but there will also be a special NFL menu available on the night, alongside some entertainment.

Club Aquarium, Old Street
Catch the game on six big screens throughout the venue, accompanied by an authentic Super Bowl experience courtesy of UK cheerleading group Komarni. There's also a swimming pool (bring your own costume!), jacuzzi, XBox, games room, beer pong, American themed food, competitions and more.

Tropicana Beach Club, Parker Street
As the name suggests, Tropicana are pretty good at throwing tropical and paradise-themed bashes but they also do great sports screenings. Their Super Bowl party on Sun 4 Feb includes pre-show entertainment, cheerleaders, XL giant screens and surround sound speakers to catch the action from every angle.

Rileys Sports Bar, Haymarket
With 34 screens showing over 70 different sport channels, Rileys is the place to go for ultimate sports viewing. As well as four different bars and an American diner, you can enjoy pool, ping pong and darts in between plays, with the party continuing on into the wee hours.

The Roadhouse, Covent Garden
The Roadhouse are known for their huge Super Bowl events, having sold out for the past six years. This year, there'll be the usual pre-show entertainment from 6pm plus some extras including the NFL London Cheerleaders and Musical Bingo. Watch the game on nine extra-large plasmas and chow down on the Roadhouse Super Bowl menu, which includes a range of American craft lagers.

The Grand, Clapham
The Grand might be one of the best places to catch all the Super Bowl action thanks to its 24ft giant screen (the biggest HD screen in London), two 8x6 screens and six 50 inch plasmas. The party kicks off at 8pm, with various standing and seating options, plus cheerleaders and DJs.

The Nordic Bar, Newman Street
Doors open at 6pm for this intimate Super Bowl party, where you'll find TVs located conveniently all over the venue and pre-show fun. The menu for the night features everything from chicken wings and ribs to mac & cheese and nachos. Tickets start at £15 and you'll be treated to a free beer on arrival.

Walkabout
There are Super Bowl screenings at Walkabout venues across the country, with the game being shown live on big screens with full commentary, stats and American snacks. If you pre-book your space, you might even end up being one of the lucky winners who will be given an NFL team shirt of their choice.
