Glasgow Film Theatre to host special Q&A with Armando Iannucci
Event on Wed 11 Oct also includes a special screening of his new film The Death of Stalin, with tickets on sale now
Glasgow Film Theatre is to host a special Q&A event with one of the city's favourite sons Armando Iannucci. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
Following a preview of The Death of Stalin, his greatly anticipated return to the big screen, the director will field questions on his latest picture and a stellar career that's seen him work on classic British comedies such as The Thick of It (and it's spin offs In The Loop and Veep), I'm Alan Partridge and The Day Today.
Documenting the political landscape of 1950's Soviet Russia, there's a great buzz around The Death of Stalin, partly due to the obvious talents of its creator. But, with a cast including Steve Buscemi, Jason Isaacs, Michael Palin, Paddy Considine and Jeffrey Tambor, Iannucci's latest satire is blessed with some bona fide comedy legends too.
The event takes place on Wed 11 Oct at 9pm, and with the film released nationwide on Fri 20 Oct, fans of Iannucci's work will get the chance to see the film before anyone else, as well as pitch their questions to the great man.
Tickets for the Q&A with Armando Iannucci at the Glasgow Film Theatre are on sale now.
