The Nickajack Men have released their latest single, 'Running', and it is a twangy, country-tinged affair: a thoughtful track that builds to a rollicking climax – think Alabama Shakes with a Scottish soul.

The video for the track is a spit-and-sawdust affair: no frills, just the band performing in a makeshift stage set up. The music speaks for itself: no gimmicks needed. Just honest alt.Americana rock performed with heart.

Lead singer, Lewis White, says: 'We were strongly influenced by artists such as Delta Spirit and War on Drugs for this release. It is an ambient up-beat song, filled with chime like guitars, piercing synthesizers and a subtle brass section. Enjoy!'
