Exclusive album premiere: Pronto Mama's Any Joy

'Songs about: life, death, woman and wine', listen to an exclusive stream of Pronto Mama's debut long player
Glasgow six-piece, Pronto Mama, are gearing up for the release of their debut album Any Joy, a belter that mixes themes of hope, hopelessness, vice, virtue, love and friendship.
While indie pop goodness is the order of the day, Pronto Mama also mix in influences from bands like Bombay Bicycle Club and Dutch Uncles, resulting in brassy jazz tones interwoven with traditional Scottish sounds (think Frightened Rabbit and Admiral Fallow).
The group's co-songwriter, Ciaran McEneny, says: 'Any Joy is an album we've been writing our whole lives. It's a collection of songs about: life, death, woman and wine. It's taken us just over a year to get to the finished product and it's the best piece of work we've produced as a band.'

Any Joy is out Fri 5 May via Electric Honey. Pronto Mama are on tour and playing at various festivals from May–Sep.
