The Glasgow Short Film Festival (GSFF) has revealed the programme for their tenth anniversary as Scotland's largest short film festival. Showcasing international filmmaking talent as well as work emerging from Scotland, the festival acts as a meeting point for industry delegates, filmmakers and the local audience.

Returning for another year is the cinematic walking tour, A Wall Is A Screen, from the Hamburg Collective. The guerrilla screening turns Glasgow's derelict spaces and landmarks into pop-up short film screenings. The Magic Lantern short film showcase, which been part of GSFF since the beginning, also returns with original curators Rosie Crerar and Penelope Bartlett and their top picks from the Magic Lantern archive.

Norwegian filmmaker Gunhild Enger, who studied at the Edinburgh College of Art 10 years ago, brings two programmes of entertaining yet honest films looking at cultural misunderstandings and capitalist consumerism.

Total Immersion: GSFF Does VR adds an interactive element to the festival where audiences can grab a headset and immerse themselves in a series of virtual reality shorts. A moving art project from the Dennis & Debbie Club showcasing the work of Scottish moving image artists, Stephanie Mann and Beagles & Ramsay will be one of many films played in the VR movie house.

And if none of that takes your fancy, there's always a programme titled When I Say Vagina, details of which remain under wraps, but the synopsis features the words 'muffins' and 'tacos' so make of that what you will. The usual selection of family-friendly shorts and animation workshops are also on offer.

32 films sharing stories from 24 countries will compete for The Bill Douglas Award For International Short Film, and The Scottish Short Film Award showcases emerging new work from Scotland, with 19 filmmakers in competition. Blazing Griffin, an innovative and dynamic film and digital entertainment company, are the new sponsor for the Scottish Short Film Award.
