Behold, a comedian from another dimension! The flame-haired, wizard-like Alasdair Beckett-King is here to spread a little positivity, seek out a better world and chuck in jokes about Games Workshop and physics. His voice is undoubtedly original and confident, and he's taken a lot of care making surreal animated visuals and spoof film posters to project throughout the show. He's fond of a bit of daft slapstick, using nicely ridiculous bell sound effects for his bendy knees, and pretending not to be aware when the Royal Family turn into cartoon lizards behind his back.

Alongside puns and odd observations, he breaks into song several times too; the impression of his beloved Bob Dylan sounds a bit like Mr Burns from The Simpsons and he reveals his revulsion at Britain's sinister colonialist past through a musical blast of Winston Churchill singing Queen lyrics. It's all very slickly done, and although there are plenty good points deftly made about capitalism and racism amongst the fact-attacks on entropy and the Doppler effect, it does give flashbacks to try-hard office joker Colin 'I'm an alien' Hunt from The Fast Show: well-meaning but ultimately, sorry to say, a bit annoying.
