Baxter Dury announces seventh album and UK tour dates: how to get tickets

Baxter Dury has announced the name, track listing and lead single for his seventh studio album, alongside an accompanying tour. Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 10 March. Scroll to the bottom of this article to find a detailed list of Dury’s UK tour dates. 

The follow-up to 2020’s The Night Chancers, Dury’s seventh album is titled I Thought I Was Better Than You and will be released on Friday 2 June via Heavenly Records. The first single from the album, ‘Aylesbury Boy’, promises a similar tone and texture to Dury’s previous work, a funk-influenced bassline with the Blockhead progeny’s usual snarling undercurrent at the fore.

Thursday 12 October – Tramshed, Cardiff
Saturday 14 October – New Century, Manchester

Wednesday 18 October – Roundhouse, London
