Beady Eye announce 2011 UK tour dates

Liam Gallagher's new band set for Glasgow, Manchester and London dates

Liam Gallagher's new band Beady Eye have announced their first ever UK tour dates, kicking off with two nights at Glasgow Barrowlands in March.

The band, consisting of Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock of Oasis, will be premiering brand new material from their debut album, set for release next year. The announcement follows the release of the single 'Bring the Light' last week.

Following Noel Gallagher's departure from Oasis in August 2009, the rest of the band chose to continue making music as the re-branded Beady Eye, and began writing songs together in November 2009. Their first album will be produced by Grammy Award winning Steve Lillywhite, who has also worked with The Smiths, The Pogues and U2.

Beady Eye will be playing their new songs live for the first time in a series of dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London, and will be joined by Matt Jones and Jeff Wootton on stage.

Tickets go on sale 10am Friday 26 November and are available from www.beadyeyemusic.com or via the box office numbers below.
