Biffy Clyro announce The Futique Tour of UK and Ireland: How to get tickets

‘Mon the Biff, the Glasgow band who’ve resolutely refused to wear a shirt for the past two decades (fair play, they do get very sweaty). They’ve just announced The Futique Tour, which will hit the UK and Ireland next year. Tickets for the shows will go on general sale at 10am on Thursday 31 July, while a pre-sale is available at 10am on Tuesday 29 July. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK and Ireland performances.

The announcement comes after a crowd-pleasing performance headlining TRNSMT on Saturday 12 July, where they performed many of their biggest hits, including ‘Many Of Horror’, ‘Wolves Of Winter’ and ‘Black Chandelier’. Frontman Simon Neil even decided to wear a vest for the occasion, a relative rarity for the band.

Futique will also be the name of their forthcoming album, set for release on Friday 26 September via Warner Records. According to a press release from the band, Futique is ‘an exploration of ideas, objects or relationships that exist across time. We are never aware when we do anything for the last time and there’s a beauty and sadness within that. What will be your Futique?’

Starting at Belfast’s SSE Arena on Friday 9 January, the band will then hit venues in Dublin, Nottingham, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Aberdeen, with a final date at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Wednesday 21 January. Special guests Soft Play and The Armed will join them on the run.
