Big Special have announced a number of UK and Ireland tour dates. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 14 May. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK and Ireland performances. 

Consisting of Joe Hicklin on vocals and Callum Moloney on drums, the duo released their debut album Postindustrial Hometown Blues last year to positive acclaim, with a deluxe edition of the album following in February of this year. While they’ve already seduced the BBC 6 Music crowd, the album gained a further lease of life last month when lead single ‘Shithouse’ closed the Black Mirror episode ‘Bête Noire’. 

Starting at Norwich’s Waterfront on Friday 13 February, the tour will then visit venues in Nottingham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton, London, Dublin and Belfast. Support on the UK leg of the tour comes from Gans, with Liz Lawrence and Good Health Good Wealth also joining them for the London date at Roundhouse on Friday 27 February. They’ll also support Pixies this month on tour across the UK.
