Bookface’s Sip And Swap has unveiled its latest event, an in-person interview with bestselling author Helen Fields. The novelist responsible for The Institution, The Shadow Man and upcoming crime thriller Profile K will appear at the book-swapping event at 1.30pm on Sunday 5 May, and tickets are available now

This edition of Sip And Swap, held in association with ListLive, will offer more than 200 books for attendees to browse and exchange, along with chances to connect with fellow avid readers.

The book exchange will be preceded by an interview with Fields, whose time as a writer stemmed from 13 years practising as a family and criminal barrister. Attendees at past Sip And Swap events include John Niven, Chris Brookmyre, Alan Parks, Lisa Gray, Billy Sloan, Helen Fitzgerald, Ambrose Parry, Doug Allan, Susannah Constantine, Sam Baker, and Nikki May.

Fields said, ‘My event with Heather’s Bookface group in Glasgow last year with my novel The Institution was absolutely joyful.

‘Bookface is a masterclass in book events and I can't wait to be in my favourite city of Edinburgh to meet fellow avid readers and discuss my latest novel.’

Bookface’s in-person with Helen Fields will take place at 1.30pm on Sunday 5 May; tickets are on sale now.
