Civerinos
Multiple locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh
Loved by diners on both the east and west coast, Civerinos is now ten years old and has racked up slew of awards along the way. Each venue has its own, individual drinks offering so check before you leave, but they all focus on casual sips that won’t break the bank.
Eusebi Deli
152 Park Road, Glasgow
If you’ve ever passed Eusebi’s on a sunny afternoon, you’ll have undoubtedly been envious of the lucky folk sitting around the outside tables at one of Glasgow’s best food spots. On the fringes of Kelvingrove Park and open early to late, Eusebi’s does everything with excellence, whether it be coffee, food, or its wonderful spritz menu.
Sotto
28–32 Deanhaugh Street, Edinburgh
Sotto describes itself as an enoteca and trattoria, highlighting its dedication to traditional Italian food and excellent wine. But look beyond the extensive wine list and you’ll find one of the best Negronis in Edinburgh. Look beyond that and you’ll find Italian classics with Mediterranean twists in a classy venue that feels designed for aperitivo and antipasti.
