Cinema in the Snow returns to London with a bumper line-up of festive flicks

200 free tickets are being offered this year to essential workers

Returning for its 6th year and hoping to bring some much-needed cheer to the capital, Pop Up Screens' Cinema in the Snow offers the chance to enjoy some new and classic Christmas movies in a suitably festive and Covid-secure environment.

Taking place from Thu 3 Dec to Sun 20 Dec in its new home at Copeland Park, Peckham, guests will enter through a magical wardrobe into what promises to be an enchanting, snow-filled winter wonderland. You'll be able to sip mulled wine as you relax in front of festive favourites like Gremlins, Elf, Frozen 2, The Muppet Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, Love Actually, and Home Alone.

This year, 200 tickets will be given away to essential workers (healthcare, social care and education professionals, those working in the postal service, supermarkets, fire service, police and armed forces). Winners will be selected at random and each will receive two tickets to a screening of their choice. The first 100 seats will be drawn on 3 Dec and the second 100 on 10 Dec. To enter the lottery, visit: mailchi.mp/popupscreens/frontline-workers-giveaway.
