For those of you who fancy being in bed by midnight, DAYS will return on Saturday 27 September with an all-day dance festival spotlighting local favourites alongside A-list acts, following a successful debut in September 2024 and a second edition in May.

Several artists have already been announced, including genre-spanning electro, techno and indie DJ and producer Erol Alkan, Irish producer/DJ Or:la, and cutting-edge underground DJ and producer Leon Vynehall, who releases a new album in September. Ross From Friends (pictured above) will also feature at the festival, presenting his new project Bubble Love, sample-heavy club fun. On the line-up is also a ‘super special guest,’ an artist who has been involved with some of the most influential underground music over the last 20 years. More local talent will be announced soon.

The festival will take over Edinburgh’s The Pitt Market in Granton from 2pm until 11pm. There will be indoor and outdoor stages, a food market, merchandise sales and hours of dancing. DAYS says they’ve ‘set a goal of providing alternative line-ups and fostering the best and most respectful crowd in the city,’ with ‘a full day of dancing by the water.’

DAYS Festival is a collaboration between RARE and Sneaky Pete’s, the two Scottish institutions. With Sneaky Pete’s selecting their favourites, more top dance music will likely feature on the line-up. May’s DAYS Festival featured three stages, and was described by the Scottish music blog Fonn as ‘a boost for Edinburgh’s cultural scene, offering an alternative to Glasgow’s established electronic scene.’

Early access tickets go on sale Friday 25 July.
