The British band have gained a cult following thanks to their hardcore revival of nu-metal, aping the proto-screamo anarchy of bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit. ‘Cellophane’ continues that tone, marking an escalation in their one-way journey to full-blown metal.
Speaking about the song, the band said, ‘”Cellophane” is about realizing you’re not as tough as you thought. That maybe you mentally don’t have what it takes, but at the same time are afraid of getting the help you need.’
Starting at Glasgow’s Barrowland on Monday 1 December, the band will then hit venues in Nottingham, Cardiff, London and Manchester.
