Doune the Rabbit Hole reveals final wave of headliners for 10th anniversary festival

Sister Sledge, Hawkwind and C Duncan announced for the summer festival's music bill
Indie music and arts festival Doune the Rabbit Hole has announced the last – but certainly not least – acts to take the stage at their 10th anniversary weekender. Among the highlights to perform in Stirlingshire include ultimate party anthem band Sister Sledge, whose headline show will be their sole Scottish performance this summer, as well as influential punk rockers The Damned; space rock band Hawkwind; acclaimed Scottish musician C Duncan; Welsh-Cornish artist Gwenno; alt-indie outfit Savage Mansion; and pop artist Carla J Easton. Festival organisers have also announced that Vic Galloway, the Radio Scotland and Radio 6 music presenter, will be the compere for the Jabberwocky stage. Tickets are on sale now.
This final wave of acts rounds off the musical line-up for the festival, which will be taking place at Cardross Estate from Friday 19 July to Sunday 21 July. Previously confirmed artists include Bob Marley's reggae band The Wailers, John Grant, dub pioneer Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Skids, and singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph.
In addition to its live music programme, Doune the Rabbit Hole also boasts an exciting roster of activities, from arts and crafts, jam sessions, storytelling, poetry and a talks programme, which this year will include the Scottish spoken word event Sonnet Youth. Moreover, as a proudly family-friendly festival, there will also be a range of activities specifically designed to keep the wee ones occupied, including children's laughter yoga, outdoor nature-based activities from Woodcraft Folk and drumming workshops, as well as a large kids area and family camping site away from the raucousness of the late night events.
