Echo & The Bunnymen will tour the UK next spring for a Very Best Of tour. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 3 November.

The highly influential band will pluck from their four decade-long back catalogue for a crowd-pleasing show, so expect to hear classics from their best of collection like ‘The Killing Moon’, ‘The Cutter’, ‘Bring On The Dancing Horses’ and more. The tour follows a sold-out run this year where the band performed Ocean Rain in full alongside a symphony orchestra, as well as a speaking tour form the band’s chief songwriter Will Sergeant to promote the second part of his memoir, Echoes. 

Starting in Norwich on Saturday 2 March, the band will then make stops in Brighton, Bournemouth, Bristol, London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Liverpool. 

Sergeant told us in an interview, ‘For me the playing is developing all the time, but we try and adhere to the original vibe of the songs. We spend a lot of time trying to recreate the sounds on the records as best we can. We have always had a few songs open for improvisation and these change all the time. It's part of what keeps the live shows interesting, the unpredictable nature of some of the songs in the set.’ Read the full interview here.
