The critically acclaimed Santogold, Aussie siblings Angus and Julia Stone, Reading’s rising star Laura Marling and Scots indie band The Twilight Sad have been added to bill of the inaugural Edge Festival, taking placed across Edinburgh from 1st to 27th August.
Philadelphia’s Santi White, otherwise known as Santogold, mixes electronic beats, punk guitars and new wave synths, and will be performing at the Liquid Room on August 19th.

Adept songwriting siblings Angus and Julia Stone, from Sydney recently attracted the attention of Travis’ Fran Healy who helped them create their debut album A Book Like This and they perform at the Liquid Room on August 11th.
Perhaps most interestingly, hotly-tipped folk-pop singer songwriter Laura Marling will play two intimate shows at the small venue Bannermans on August 12th & 13th. Her debut album Alas I Cannot Swim has been warmly received across the board.
Scots band The Twilight Sad, will bring epic noise rock to the Liquid Room on 14th August
In addition, eccentric indie rockers Young Knives and critically acclaimed Wild Beasts have been confirmed as support to Maximo Park at the Corn Exchange on the 18th August.. Shed Seven have confirmed that Scottish singer-songwriter Colin MacIntyre (a.k.a Mull Historical society) will be opening their show at the Corn Exchange on 14th August.
