Two innovative companies are launching on Thu 5 Aug in Glasgow, where they will demonstrate their skills in their respective fields of video production and advanced bartending. Scottish-based LA Group and Foundlight Productions join forces at LA Group's headquarters in Glasgow for the event.

Foundlight Productions are a video production company who have worked with clients including BBC Radio One, Manchester United, Airbus and Smirnoff. Their trademark dynamic video pieces have led to them being booked to provide live projections for DJ Yoda at the last ever Headspin club night at Edinburgh's Bongo Club on Sat 7 Aug. The company also recorded the work of illustrator Johanna Basford as she created the cover of this year's Edinburgh Fringe programme, based on live instructions from incoming Tweets.

The LA Group are a young firm at the forefront of bar tending who provide bespoke events for companies that involve top bartenders, designers, photographers, musicians and DJs. They have worked stints at Rockness and T in the Park, as well as offering individual and group tuition classes.

Having already collaborated on the Alphanauts launch – when two Glasgow artists created visual artwork which was later auctioned off, while an audience watched – both these up-and-coming teams have shown their ability to curate an exciting event. Expect a night of live multimedia projections, cutting edge cocktails, live music and visual installations.
