Electra Glide in Blue
5 REASONS TO GO AND SEE
Electra Glide in Blue
Robert Blake
This former child actor celebrated for his performance in the film of Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood. was tried and acquitted for the murder of his wife in 2001. Blake hasn’t acted since his creepy turn as the Mystery Man in David Lynch’s Lost Highway.
James William Guercio
Made just this one film. After it bombed " misunderstood as a fascist road movie " Guercio quit the business to manage soft rock bands Chicago and Blood, Sweat and Tears.
Chicago
The band members appear in the film (this may be a reason not to go see).
Dialogue
Motorcycle cop
Big John Wintergreen (Blake): ‘There ain’t nothin’ I hate more in this world than that elephant under my ass.’
Bikes
The slo-mo scene in which a cop drives his Harley through a plate glass window is as awesome as anything Sam Peckinpah ever shot.
