Here's everything you need to know about Terminal V

This weekend is about to get pretty noisy at Royal Highland Park, as the dance festival Terminal V crash lands on the site.

This regular dance blowout on Saturday 8 April and Sunday 9 April has become a fixture for anyone who loves bass-heavy dance and frantic electronica.

Whether you were an early bird purchaser or plan to nab a last minute ticket, we’ve amassed all the info we can to give you a comprehensive guide to the fest. Take a look for information on the line-up, ticket prices, food and drink stalls and more.

Who’s playing at Terminal V?

Usually this is where we’d type up every act in a festival, but there are so many at Terminal V that we’d have repetitive strain injury before we were finished. What we can tell you is that there are more than 75 dance acts performing throughout the festival, including the likes of Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, blk., Folamour, I Hate Models plus homegrown heroes Ewan McVicar, Kintra and Frazi.er. Save us some typing time by perusing the poster below, which features most of the line-up.

If you’re itching to see a specific act, look no further than the Terminal V app, which details every set time throughout the weekend. Personally, we can't wait to catch up with Dundee-born dance act Kintra, who combine violins and banging beats. Watch a video of them below:

What food and drink is available?

Frankly, we’re happy to listen to any music at a festival as long as the food’s good. It looks like Terminal V will deliver on the culinary front with a selection that’ll cater to every dietary requirement. We’ve been told that From The Street Diner, Fire & Dough, The Caravan of Courage (vegan), Crispy Duck & Fried Chicken and Dinky Donuts will all be available throughout the weekend.

For drinks, pop-up bars Jubel, Absolut, Paradise Palms and Red Bull will be onsite, as well as no- and low-alcohol options. A vape stall will also be on the grounds.

How do I get there?

According to a press release, ‘The number 98 bus will depart from George Street (Assembly Rooms) to and from the festival site during event times. In addition to the regular tram service every seven minutes throughout the day, Edinburgh Trams will also run extra services every 20 minutes through until around half past midnight during Terminal V.’

Are tickets still available?

A limited number of tickets are still available, with prices starting at £78.69. We'll see you there.
