Everything you need to know about the new Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival

Top street food, a head-turning lineup of DJs and, of course, kegs and kegs of craft beer
Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival is shaping up into something of a must-attend event and is certainly one of the highlights to look forward to in Auld Reekie this spring. The festival has just announced that Jamie MacColl of English indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club will be playing in the Saturday afternoon slot, adding him to a lineup that already boasted Young Fathers, Belle & Sebastian, Idlewild and Olugbenga Adelekan from Metromony.
Taking place at The Biscuit Factory the weekend of 26–28 May, tickets are on sale now, starting at £30 – though if you're hoping to get through tasting the entire host of beers on offer you might want to consider splashing out on the Weekender pass. When you see the list of brewers attending below, you'll understand why.
So, in addition the biggest names in the craft beer world and a killer lineup of bands spinning (okay, pressing play on) their favourite tunes, organisers have wisely booked some of Edinburgh's finest purveyors of street food to line our bellies with much needed nourishment. No excuses accepted for any rookie errors of judgement in drinking responsibly – this is a craft beer festival, after all, not a rugby club AGM.
If you're curious, we've gathered up everything we know about who'll be in attendance at the festival so you can plan accordingly.
