Lewis Capaldi hits the stage on the final night of TRNSMT 2022

The first details of 2023's edition of TRNSMT, Scotland's largest music festival, have emerged. The festival will take place over three days on Friday 7-Sunday 9 July next year. An exclusive pre-sale for 2023 weekend tickets is available for 2022 ticket buyers, TRNSMT mailing list subscribers and 3Mobile customers from 9am Wednesday 13 July, and a general on sale begins from 9am on Friday 15 July.

Weekend tickets for 2023 will be temporarily frozen at 2022 prices. General tickets will cost £175 plus booking fee, while VIP will cost £289 plus booking fee.

The announcement comes a day after festivities wrapped on the 2022 edition of the festival, with an emotional homecoming show from Glasgow’s Lewi Capaldi capping off Sunday's run of performances. Other A-listers at the festival included Wet Leg, The Strokes, Sam Fender, DMA’s, and the Swedish pop sensation Sigrid.

Geoff Ellis, festival director of cinch presents TRNSMT said, ‘What an incredible weekend we’ve had. We had the sun shining on Glasgow Green, a fantastic line up of over 70 artists across four stages and 50,000 incredible fans every day - we really couldn’t have asked for more.

‘TRNSMT marks the halfway point in Scotland’s record-breaking summer of music and I’d like to thank the artists, the fans and everyone who works extremely hard behind the scenes to make this festival happen.’
