Just as the ashes settle on another Edinburgh Festival Fringe there's another chance to catch some of the best comedians in Scotland. Funny in Falkirk announces another stellar lineup of stand-up across 11 venues in Falkirk, Denny, Bo'ness, Stenhousemuir and Grangemouth.

Highlights include Canadian stand-up Tom Stade (Falkirk Town Hall, Sun 18 Oct); Father Ted's Ardal O'Hanlon (Falkirk Town Hall, Thu 22 Oct); hair-brained comic Phil Kay (Behind the Wall, Sat 24 Oct) and chef / funny man Hardeep Singh Kohli (Behind the Wall, Sun 25 Oct).

If you fancy something a little bit different Tony Law and friends (Dobbie Hall, Sat 17 Oct) will be taking a trip to the surreal side of life; Games of Thrones parody A Show of Vice & Liars (Falkirk Stadium, Sat 17 Oct); Marcel Lucont (Behind the Wall, Thu 22 Oct) hosts the Cabaret Fantastique while Michelle McManus (Grangemouth Town Hall, Fri 23 Oct) presents a mix of comedy, stories and song.

The full programme includes plenty of Scottish comics, special guests, quizzes, magic and even a 'forensic' mind reader (Colin Cloud, Falkirk Stadium, Sat 24 Oct) with a full schedule of Funny on Film screenings still to be announced at Cineworld Falkirk and the Bo'ness Hippodrome.

Funny in Falkirk, various venues, Falkirk, 15–25 Oct.
