Garth Marenghi has announced a new tour to promote his forthcoming book Incarcerat. Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 14 April. Find a detailed list of his UK tour dates at the bottom of this article. 

The 14-date tour will begin at Leeds’ City Varieties Music Hall on Monday 30 October before making stops at Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Brighton, Southampton, Essex, Bournemouth, Bath, Cardiff and Nottingham, with a final date at Sheffield’s Octagon Theatre on Sunday 19 November. 

His latest book, Incarcerat, follows hot on the heels of his last story collection Terrortome and is set for release on Tuesday 31 October. According to a press release, ‘In this second novel of interconnected mini-novels, Steen is abducted and imprisoned at Nulltec, a shadowy technological research facility hidden deep among the Stalkford downs. There, he is tested and interfered with by a team of scientific experts determined to nullify his escaping imagination.’

Last year, we got comedian Nish Kumar to interview Marenghi about his life and works. Discussing his mysterious disappearance from public life, Marenghi said, 'I got separated from family and friends in the late 2000s, first at a funfair, then permanently after an explosive wedding ceremony (literally explosive) between my youngest daughter and her badly chosen suitor.
