The cheery troubadour will play Glasgow, Manchester, Aberdeen and more this summer

The effervescently jovial George Ezra has announced a full arena tour of the UK this summer. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 29 April. Fans who pre-order Ezra's new album before 3pm on Tuesday 26 April can access tickets via an exclusive pre-sale. Check out the bottom of this article to find a detailed list of Ezra’s tour dates. 

Coming hot on the heels of Ezra's biggest headline show to date at London's Finsbury Park on Sunday 17 July, the tour begins at Liverpool M&S Bank Arena on Tuesday 13 September and takes in 11 shows, finishing at Sheffield Utilita Arena on Sunday 2 October.

The tour comes partly in support of Ezra’s latest album Gold Rush Kid, a set of typically bouncy pop hits set for release on Friday 10 June. Alongside the tour announcement, Ezra dropped his latest single ‘Green Green Grass’. Ezra says of the song, ‘I was on holiday in St Lucia with a few friends at Christmas 2018, with two of my closest mates from home. We were in this beach bar, drinking homemade rum punch and Piton, the local lager, flip-flopping between the two, pissing about with three local guys who worked there. And this music started up, three streets back from the sea.'
 
He continues, 'After about half an hour, I had to go see what it was. And there was a street party going on, with three different sound systems, people cooking in the street. I asked a woman what was going on and she told me it was a funeral – for three people. They were celebrating three lives! I thought: that is not how we do this at home. And it’s really beautiful.’
