SHVLLOWS, TeenCanteen and Pronto Mama among bands playing the one-day music festival

Tenement Trail is Scotland's biggest inner-city music festival, meaning you don't need to bus it to and from a muddy field for a day of live music, huzzah. Offering over 12 hours of music from over 50 bands and DJs, Tenement Trail takes place at nine venues in Glasgow city centre, the majority located along Sauchiehall Street, with a daunder around the corner for King Tut's and a stroll up the hill for Art School.

New bands joining the lineup include Medicine Men, who've played Leeds and Belladrum this summer; Edinburgh electro-poppers SHVLLOWS; all-girl indie-pop band TeenCanteen, whose debut album Say It All With A Kiss is released Fri 9 Sep; and Glasgow's indie rock/soul pop group Pronto Mama, who will headline the Art School.

Also new to the Tenement Trail lineup are Sinderins, Shogun, Sweat, Alligator, Oceans, Five Cousins, Scholesy, Tribal High, Young & The Satellites, ST MARTiiNS and Emme Woods. Taking place on Sat 8 Oct, the same month Tenement TV, celebrate their fifth birthday, the Trail already boasts a stacked lineup, with Milburn, Crash Club, Be Charlotte, Tijuana Bibles, The Bar Dogs, The Van T's and Barrie-James O'Neill all on the bill.

Various venues, Glasgow, Sat 8 Oct. Tickets on sale now.
