Glasvegas announce new tour dates
Glasvegas have announced details of a new UK winter tour to close a hugely successful year for the Scots foursome.
Following on from the release of their debut album and sold-out September tour, one of Scotland's most exciting bands will embark on a 15-date jaunt across the UK.
The tour opens at Bristol's Ansom Rooms on November 28 and includes their biggest headline show to date at the London Shepherd's Bush Empire, closing with a homecoming gig at the Glasgow Barrowlands on 16 December.
They have been described by the man who discovered Oasis, Alan McGee, as "the most exciting Scottish band for 20 years" and dubbed 'The Best New Band in Britain' by NME - all before even releasing an album.
But the hype seems justified, with widespread acclaim for their new self-titled debut pouring in, and their success may even be spreading stateside with an upcoming US mini-tour at the end of September.
Glasvegas' self-titled debut album is released today, September 8, while tickets for the tour go on sale on Wednesday, September 10 at 9am.
