Guy Ritchie is in talks to direct a film version of his own Virgin Comics series The Gameskeeper for Warner Brothers. Uber-producer Joel Silver is on board to guide the adaptation to the screen which will be something of a step away from the guns and gangsters chic that has been Ritchie’s trademark. The story follows the reclusive gamekeeper of a Scottish estate as he uses his rural skills to hunt down the man he believes killed his son. The Next of Kin/Southern Comfort for the deer stalking community is likely to go into production when Ritchie completes RocknRolla.
