Here’s everything you need to know about Girls Aloud’s 2024 reunion tour: pre-sale info, ticket prices, tour dates and more
Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts will reform next summer in memory of Sarah Harding

For years I’ve been assembling a crack team of mime artists for Girls Mute, a unique tribute act that'll perform my avant-garde interpretations of the girl group phenomenon Girls Aloud's greatest hits, including ‘No Sound On The Underground’, ‘Can’t Speak French (Because I’m Not Talking)’ and ‘Something Kinda Muuuuuuute’. While I continue in the slow formation of my masterpiece, you could do worse than watch the real thing. And with the announcement that Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts are hitting the road once again, you'll be able to do exactly that in some of the biggest arenas across the UK and Ireland.

The tour will in part be ‘a celebration’ of Sarah Harding, the fifth member of the group who died of breast cancer in 2021, and to mark two decades since the band reigned supreme on Popstars: The Rivals and bagged a Christmas number one with the eternal pop banger ‘Sound Of The Underground’.

Read on for the nitty gritty lowdown on the Girls Aloud 2024 reunion tour, including when tickets go on sale, what presales are available, how much ticket prices will cost, if the foursome are releasing new material, and more.

Why are Girls Aloud reforming now?
According to a press release, the two-decade anniversary tour was in the pipeline before Harding’s passing. Cole claimed, ‘We all started talking about the possibility of doing something to celebrate Girls Aloud’s 20-year anniversary a few years ago. The anniversary seemed like an obvious thing that we would celebrate. But when Sarah fell ill all priorities changed. She passed away a year before the anniversary and it just didn’t feel right, it felt too soon. But now, I think there is an energy that does makes it feel right.
'It’s the right time to celebrate Sarah, it’s the right time to celebrate the band and the right time to celebrate the fact we can still do this 21 years later. That’s a big honour in lots of ways.’

Will Girls Aloud be releasing new material?
Whispers of new material from Girls Aloud have circulated for weeks online, with The Sun claiming that the group had recorded a new single and music video in tribute to Harding, however this has been denied by Girls Aloud PR team.
In an interview with British Vogue, Cole said, ‘We couldn’t [record new songs], because Sarah wouldn’t be included in that newness. This is about celebrating the 20 years we’ve all had.’ So, by the sounds of it, no new music will come from the Girls Aloud clan.
Will Girls Aloud play Glastonbury?
A few eagle-eyed fans online have spotted that this tour ends a day before Glastonbury’s Legends slot, giving the Aloud gang time to hit Pilton in style. British Vogue revealed that no official plans are officially in the works…yet. ‘We’ve spoken about this but the thing is, we’d have to take our stage and so the logistics would be hard,’ claimed Coyle. ‘But we are touring at the same time so maybe we could get a jet in.’
Not a yes (they, after all, haven't actually been asked by the Glastonbury team) but not quite a no.
