Here’s everything you need to know about Oasis’ reunion tour in 2025: Pre-sale info, tour dates and more
The Britpop sensations will put their fratricidal urges to one side at venues in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Cardiff and more next summer

Stocks in bucket hat manufacturers have probably soared across the past week, as Oasis (underground band, you’ve probably not heard of them) have announced a reunion.
In case you’ve been hiding under a parka for the past decade-and-a-half, Noel and Liam Gallagher parted ways acrimoniously after a bust-up backstage at a gig in Paris. Fruit was thrown, arguments about Liam’s Pretty Green clothing line ensued, and an electric guitar was brandished in Noel's direction. A standard night out for the Gallagher lads, then, but one that proved to be the final straw for Noel; he stormed out, formed an avian-centred musical collective and never looked back.
Until now, that is. After more than a decade of back-biting, scathing sarcasm and hugely enjoyable insult hurling, the boys have patched up their differences and announced a 14-date tour of the UK and Ireland.

Who’ll be supporting Oasis on tour?
Support for the lads hasn’t been confirmed, but we’d hazard a guess that usual suspects like Kasabian (who supported the band in 2009) will be in the running. Fans on social media have speculated that Manic Street Preachers, The Last Dinner Party, The Prodigy, The Courteeners, Fontaines DC, Lottery Winners, Johnny Marr and others could open for the band.
How did the reunion come about?
Speculation of a reunion has never really died down since Oasis' split in 2009. Yet Liam and Noel have both hit points in their career where they don’t really need each other (Noel's albums are more critically acclaimed than at any point in his career, while Liam consistently sells out arenas every year) and there hasn’t been a sign of their fractious relationship thawing any time soon.
So it came as a shock when Liam began resharing rumours that he was getting the band back together and posting ‘I never did like that word FORMER’ on X. This was followed by ‘27.08.24’ appearing on screens directly after Liam’s headline set at Reading & Leeds festival.
I never did like that word FORMER
— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) August 25, 2024
Sure enough, at 8am on Tuesday 27 August Oasis confirmed that they would return to the stage for 14 shows across the UK and Ireland, writing, ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’ A bit melodramatic, perhaps, but fair play.
So Liam and Noel are back on speaking terms?
One assumes so. They haven’t actually been spotted in the same room together, and their joint press photo looks curiously like they were taken separately then photoshopped together. What we do know is that they’ve had warm words to say about each other (a rarity across the past 15 years). Speaking to John Robb, Noel had glowing praise for Liam’s vocals. Watch that video below.
Liam, meanwhile, dedicated a recent performance of ‘Half The World Away’ to his brother during a recent headline performance at Reading & Leeds Festival. Whether or not they’ve made amends, they’re at least back to admiring each other’s talents.
Will Oasis be playing Glastonbury next year?
Despite intense speculation from the media, apparently the band won't be playing Glastonbury in 2025. Here's what they recently posted on Xitter.
